Today’s treasure is a treasure of a treasure!
I’d posted a similar picture on my personal FB account, of the treasure of this worksheet from a now-defunct railroad, the C&EI. As a lover of old things, I’ve kept this piece of paper but didn’t know what to do with it. I made a real-time photo of it (below), then put it away.
After posting about it, I heard from an old school friend whose father used to work for this railroad, and who has very few things to remind her of him. I am beyond happy to send it to her.
My treasure today is that special conveyance of knowledge that allowed this very unmeaningful piece of paper for me, except that it is old!, to get into the hands of someone for whom this paper is very meaningful.
What a treasure.
