The outdoors screamed for me yesterday. It was a short visit, only five minutes once my fingers got damp with snow. Long enough to fill my lungs with crisp, clean winter air and to take a few pictures of our backyard in its glory.
The progress on the church book is going well. The transcribing will be done within a month, so my heart is already thinking ahead to spring. Some tufts of grass are still peeking through the snow, tempting me to dream of warmer days. Until then, I’ll keep warm, inside, biding my time with winter projects, treasuring the winter vignettes from the kitchen window.
